THe people living in the houses carry misconceptions and assumptions about the people living in the public housing units and vice versa. The 30-Minute Wait

“This photo shows people waiting for the bus in Southeast D.C. It is a cold day and it’s rush hour. The bus schedule shows the bus comes every 30 minutes but it rarely shows up within 10 minutes of its scheduled arrival. This shows that although everyone in D.C. pays taxes for public transportation, the working class and poor neighborhoods do not get good service.”
