"As students who really want to learn, one big issue that affects our school is our building. This school building was an elementary school. It makes me feel closed in. Washington Met is a good school but there’s not enough teachers, materials, classes, rooms, etc. I think we can help our school by fundraising for a new building because I like this school. I also think a lot of others like this school but it’s just a distraction to some students. We can help DC Met!"

"The photo I took is of my trip to school, this photo showcases the amount of stops that I have to go through to get from my home to Shaw Howard. Because I have to travel such a far distance, I am a  student who is late most of the time. The day I took this photo I was late. I didn't arrive to school until second period had begun."
