It's so Pretty

“This photo represents a hidden truth. The world can be just as pretty as this sculpture but we make it ugly with injustices, low-quality treatment of people. The lies and biases we are surrounded by change the young and open-minded and breeds hatred into our future. Taking photos with the other youth interns while walking around helps me to relax and get rid of street that builds up from school. Critical Exposure teaches me to look outside of my own problems to find connections with others.”

"Life is but a game when your school is your family. You may hate them, you may love them, but sooner or later they will have your back at least once."

“My school is divided in two. We have to walk through an alley to go to the cafeteria. Our cafeteria is also our gym and where detention is held. My school is small and crowded.”
