“My name is Alberto and I am advocating to support low-income households and decrease the city’s poverty rate. I believe this is very important. This will help lower the poverty rate, reduce crimes, help with mental health, and live a more healthy lifestyle.
I demonstrated leadership by spreading awareness and advocating for the issues that need to be fixed. Everyone has a voice, and they can use it for good.
I’m inspired by my own struggle and seeing other people struggle. I want to make a positive impact on my community and city. I didn’t take many photos, but I would like to express a message through photography – I want to show the real side of my city and spread awareness about the issues.
A change I hope to see is to lower crime and decrease the poverty rate. Doing this will help with solving other issues. This is why I am advocating for the biggest issues in the city. Always try to make a positive impact in your community whether it’s big or small. The positive impact will never be forgotten – it can be learned and inspired.”
