This photo was taken at the University of Pine Bluff graduation ceremony at the Convention Center on May 13th to celebrate hard working people. It is a photo of a long line of graduates, and it shows that many people are graduating.
These photos tell how Pine Bluff was before and how it looks now. Before: it was beautiful with busy businesses and everyone was happy. Now: it is broken down. Buildings are half way on the ground. There are not a lot of people driving and walking around. Almost every store is gone, and it looks like tumble weeds can fly through it. What I want done: I want everyone to make good grades so we can make it look like how it was before and we can open up stores that everyone will like. We could reopen the candy shop or build a restaurant or jewelry store or a shoe store down here.
Editor's note: This photo was taken at the Altheimer-Sherrill High School, in Altheimer, a small community of 1,109 people located near Pine Bluff. The school closed in 2005, and consolidated with the Dollarway School District.
