School-Based Programs
Our In-School Programs are implemented in partnership with classroom teachers and with the active support of principals. Programs provide students with the opportunity to participate in Critical Exposure’s programs during the school day, enabling us to reach youth who either do not or cannot participate in afterschool activities. Students learn about the history of photography and youth-led social change, as well as how to take photographs and write powerful captions. Staff also teach students how to identify a specific challenge that is impacting their education and work collectively to find a solution. Current partners include Luke C. Moore High School and E.L. Haynes High School.
