The winners of Through Your Lens, a national photography and writing contest on school facilities, were on display during the week of May 9 – 13 in the Russell Senate Rotunda on Capitol Hill.  This exhibit was the result of a one-month contest that received more than 300 submissions from students, teachers, and parents across the country who wanted to spotlight the important role school facilities play in a child's education.

The contest was a partnership between Critical Exposure, the Healthy Schools Campaign and 21st Century School Fund.  There were examples of truly high-quality learning environments, as well as buildings that no child should have to learn in.  The 26-photo exhibit can also be viewed online, and contestants were urged to invite their legislators to view the exhibit.

An article about the exhibit and contest appeared in The Huffington Post.
